Edinburgh, of course, of course ...
But we're also very pleased to see the Kirkcudbright fringe in the south west returning for its third year, testimony to the success and attractiveness of a diverse programme running over a compact four days, this year from Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th September.
There'll be music - from the Jake Leg Jug Band to performances of Bach and Chopin on the piano and a major gig by Pat and Greg Kane, aka Hue and Cry.
There'll be real ale and whiskey tasting, magic and films.
And - perhaps most of interest to readers of this website - there'll be a range of political talks and discussion events, including by campaigner Peter Tatchell and historian Kate Phillips.
Other inputs are from:
Film-maker Anthony Baxter, who exposed Donald Trump's disruptive and domineering style before he became POTUS the first time.
Gabriel Gatehouse will be sharing insights about Trump, Trumpism and the (il)logics of right-wing populism, paranoia and conspiracy theories which have shaped his excellent book and BBC podcast series.
In an event running in association with Medical Aid for Palestine, Anne and Graham Bryce, from Kirkcudbright will talk about the 2400 mile cycle trip they made last year to Bethlehem to raise awareness of the Palestinian cause.
There'll be a talk on the story of modern housing in Scotland, and Lesley Riddoch will be in discussion with former First Minister Henry McLeish about our nation's possible futures, with an eye to next year's Scottish Parliament elections.
